एवमादीनि चान्यानि परित्यक्तानि मेधया । ज्वलन्ति यशसा लोके यानि न व्याहरन्ति च,इस प्रकार संसारमें और भी बहुत-सी ऐसी बुद्धिसे रहित वस्तुएँ हैं, जो अपनी प्रशंसा नहीं करती हैं, किंतु अपने यशसे जगमगाती रहती हैं
evam-ādīni cānyāni parityaktāni medhayā | jvalanti yaśasā loke yāni na vyāharanti ca ||
Nārada sprach: „So gibt es auch viele andere Dinge — von der Einsicht erkannt — die sich nicht selbst verkünden. Und doch leuchten sie in der Welt durch ihren eigenen Ruhm.“
