अनब्रुवन् वाति सुरभिर्गन्ध: सुमनसां शुचि: । तथैवाव्याहरन् भाति विमलो भानुरम्बरे,फूलोंकी पवित्र एवं मनोरम सुगन्ध बिना कुछ बोले ही महक उठती है। निर्मल सूर्य अपनी प्रशंसा किये बिना ही आकाशमें प्रकाशित होने लगते हैं
anabruvan vāti surabhir gandhaḥ sumanasāṃ śuciḥ | tathaivāvyāharan bhāti vimalaḥ bhānur ambare ||
Nārada sprach: „Ohne ein Wort zu sagen, verbreitet sich der reine, liebliche Duft der Blumen im Wind. Ebenso leuchtet, ohne sich selbst zu verkünden, die makellose Sonne am Himmel.“ Die Lehre lautet: Wahre Vortrefflichkeit und Tugend bedürfen keiner Selbstwerbung; sie werden durch ihre natürlichen Wirkungen offenbar.
