Righteous conduct yields imperishable spiritual reward: those who live by dharma attain limitless realms, and even the highest celestial powers honor them—portraying ethical excellence as worthy of divine reverence.
Bhīṣma describes the posthumous honor granted to certain virtuous persons: Brahmā, along with Apsarases and other heavenly beings, comes to their abode and circumambulates it, symbolizing veneration and the exalted status of their attainment.
