अध्याय २०८ — इन्द्रियनिग्रहः, सत्याहिंसात्मकवाक्, कर्मफलविवेकः

Restraint of the Senses, Non-harming Truthful Speech, and Discernment of Karmic Consequence

त्रैलोक्यभावनास्तात प्राच्यां सप्तर्षयस्तथा । तात! मेधातिथिके पुत्र कण्वमुनि, बर्हिषद तथा त्रिलोकीको उत्पन्न करनेमें समर्थ सप्तर्षिगण हैं, जो पूर्व दिशामें स्थित होते हैं

trailokya-bhāvanās tāta prācyāṃ saptaṛṣayas tathā |

Bhīṣma sprach: „Mein Kind, auch im Osten weilen die Sieben Ṛṣis, begabt mit der Kraft, die drei Welten zu tragen und hervorzubringen.“
