तद्गचः संगतं श्रुत्वा लोमशो युक्तमर्थवत् | हर्षादुद्वीक्ष्य पलितं स्वागतेनाभ्यपूजयत्,चूहेकी यह युक्तियुक्त, सुसंगत और अभिप्रायपूर्ण बात सुनकर लोमशने उसकी ओर हर्षभरी दृष्टिसे देखा तथा स्वागतपूर्वक उसकी भूरि-भूरि प्रशंसा की
tadgiraḥ saṅgataṃ śrutvā lomaśo yuktam arthavat | harṣād udvīkṣya palitaṃ svāgatenābhyapūjayat ||
Bhishma sprach: Als Lomaśa jene wohlgefügten Worte hörte—vernünftig und voller Sinn—freute er sich, blickte zu dem Grauhaarigen auf und ehrte ihn mit höflichem Willkommen, ihn reichlich lobend.
