सो5हं निर्जित्य समरे विजयं सहकेशवम्‌

Transliteration

so'haṃ nirjitya samare vijayaṃ saha-keśavam

Translation

Yudhiṣṭhira sprach: „Ich, der ich im Kampf gesiegt und den Sieg zusammen mit Keśava (Kṛṣṇa) errungen habe, …“ Die Zeile trägt eine bekümmerte Selbsterkenntnis: Auch wenn der Triumph mit göttlicher Hilfe errungen wurde, findet der Geist des Sprechers keinen Frieden und deutet auf die moralische Last eines durch Krieg gewonnenen Sieges.
