स तद्‌ वचनमाज्ञाय राज्ञो ब्राह्मणसत्तम:

sa tad vacanam ājñāya rājño brāhmaṇasattamaḥ

Sañjaya sprach: Nachdem er den Befehl des Königs verstanden hatte, machte sich der vornehmste der Brahmanen daran, entsprechend zu handeln—ein Zeichen unverzüglichen Gehorsams gegenüber dem königlichen Gebot.
