इस प्रकार श्रीमहाभारत शल्यपर्वके अन्तर्गत गदापरववमें श्रीकृष्ण पाण्डव और दुर्योधनका संवादविषयक इकसठवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
iti prakāraṃ śrīmahābhārate śalyaparvake antargata-gadāparvaṇi śrīkṛṣṇa-pāṇḍava-duryodhanayoḥ saṃvāda-viṣayaka ekaṣaṣṭitamo 'dhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ
Sañjaya sprach: So endet im Śrī Mahābhārata, innerhalb des Śalya Parva—namentlich im Abschnitt über den Keulenkampf—das einundsechzigste Kapitel, dessen Gegenstand der Dialog zwischen Śrī Kṛṣṇa, den Pāṇḍavas und Duryodhana ist. Die Schlussformel markiert einen Übergang in der Kriegserzählung und betont, dass Rat und moralische Standortbestimmung das kriegerische Handeln begleiten und dass die kommende Gewalt durch Erwägungen über Dharma und Folge geprägt ist.
