शल्यस्य सेनापत्याभ्युपगमः | Śalya’s Acceptance of Command

ततो वाहान्‌ समाश्रचस्य सर्वे युद्धाभिनन्दिन: । ऊने द्वियोजने गत्वा प्रत्यतिष्ठन्त कौरवा:,तत्पश्चात्‌ सब योद्धाओंने अपने-अपने वाहनोंको विश्राम दे युद्धका अभिनन्दन किया और आठ कोससे कुछ कम दूरीपर जाकर डेरा डाला

Transliteration

tato vāhān samāśvasya sarve yuddhābhinandinaḥ | ūne dviyojane gatvā pratyatiṣṭhanta kauravāḥ ||

Translation

Sañjaya sprach: „Dann, nachdem sie ihren Reittieren Ruhe gegönnt hatten, zogen all jene Krieger—die am Kampf Gefallen fanden—noch ein Stück weiter, etwas weniger als zwei Yojanas; dort hielten die Kauravas an und schlugen ihr Lager auf.“
