अध्याय ४ — दुर्योधनस्य असंधि-निश्चयः
Duryodhana’s Refusal of Reconciliation
जाम्बूनदविचित्रं च धूयमानं महद् धनु: । दृश्यते दिक्षु सर्वासु विद्युदभ्रधनेष्विव,'अर्जुनके हाथमें डोलता हुआ उनका सुवर्णजटित महान् धनुष सम्पूर्ण दिशाओंमें वैसा ही दिखायी देता है, जैसे मेघोंकी घटामें बिजली
jāmbūnadavicitraṃ ca dhūyamānaṃ mahad dhanuḥ | dṛśyate dikṣu sarvāsu vidyud-abhradhaneṣv iva ||
Sañjaya sprach: „Jener große Bogen, reich mit Jāmbūnada-Gold eingelegt und schwankend, wenn er geschwungen wird, ist nach allen Richtungen hin zu sehen — wie ein Blitz, der in dichten Wolkenmassen aufleuchtet.“
