Adhyāya 33: Rauhiṇeya (Balarāma) is welcomed and takes his seat to witness the gadā-engagement
ततो भीमबलो भीमो युधिष्ठिरमथाब्रवीत् । सृञ्जयै: सह तिष्ठन्तं तपनन््तमिव भास्करम्,तदनन्तर भयंकर बलशाली भीमसेनने सूंजयोंके साथ खड़े हुए तपते सूर्यके समान तेजस्वी युधिष्ठिस्से कहा--
tato bhīmabalo bhīmo yudhiṣṭhiram athābravīt | sṛñjayaiḥ saha tiṣṭhantaṃ tapanantam iva bhāskaram ||
Sañjaya sprach: Da wandte sich Bhīma, gewaltig an Kraft, an Yudhiṣṭhira, der dort mit den Sṛñjayas stand, lodernd wie die sengende Sonne.
