Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Lament and Inquiry (Śalya-parva, Adhyāya 2)
The verse highlights the importance of attentive witnessing and repeated counsel: in moments of conflict, guidance is not merely spoken once but reinforced, so that duty and right action are not forgotten amid turmoil.
The speaker addresses Sūta and notes that the person in question spoke repeatedly in the speaker’s presence, marking a narrative transition where testimony and reiterated speech set up the next events or instructions.
