शरै: संछादयामास समन्तात् पाण्डुनन्दनम् | तब सत्यसेनने शत्रुका वेग नष्ट करनेवाले दूसरे भारसाधक धनुषको हाथमें लेकर अपने बाणोंद्वारा पाण्डुनन्दन नकुलको ढक दिया

Sanjaya sprach: Mit einem Hagel von Pfeilen bedeckte er den Sohn Pāṇḍus ringsum, von allen Seiten. In der Glut des Kampfes ergriff der Krieger Satyasena—schnell im Angriff und darauf aus, den Schwung des Feindes zu brechen—einen weiteren kräftigen Bogen und hüllte Nakula, den Pāṇḍava-Prinzen, mit seinen Salven in einen Pfeilschleier.
