चिच्छेद तरसा युद्धे तत उच्चुक्रुशुर्जना: । आर्य! इसके बाद रणभूमिमें सत्यसेनके धनुष और दस्तानेके भी नकुलने वेगपूर्वक टुकड़े-टुकड़े कर डाले। इससे सब लोग जोर-जोरसे कोलाहल करने लगे

Sanjaya sprach: In der Glut der Schlacht hieb er es mit jäher Schnelligkeit nieder; und bei diesem Anblick erhob das Volk lautes Geschrei. Danach zerschmetterte Nakula auf dem Kampfplatz, von gewaltigem Tempo getragen, auch Satyasenas Bogen und seine schützenden Handschuhe in Stücke, sodass unter allen Zeugen ein großer Aufruhr entstand.
