Duryodhana’s Final Condition, Lamentation, and the Night’s Report

तव प्रसादादस्माभि: समित्रै: सह बान्धवै:

tava prasādād asmābhiḥ samitraiḥ saha bāndhavaiḥ

„Durch deine Gnade konnten wir—zusammen mit unseren Freunden und Verwandten—so bestehen/so handeln.“ Sañjaya schreibt den gegenwärtigen Ausgang der Wohltat des Angesprochenen zu und betont die Abhängigkeit von fremder Stütze sowie das gemeinsame Geschick von Verbündeten und Familie nach dem Krieg.
