असम्भावितरूपं हि त्वयि कर्म विगर्हितम् । शुक्ले रक्तमिव न्यस्तं भवेदिति मतिर्मम,जैसे सफेद वस्त्रमें लाल रंगका धब्बा लग जाय, उस प्रकार तुममें निन्दित कर्मका होना सम्भावनासे परेकी बात है, ऐसा मेरा विश्वास है
asambhāvitarūpaṃ hi tvayi karma vigarhitam | śukle raktam iva nyastaṃ bhaved iti matir mama ||
„Wahrlich, dass du eine tadelnswerte Tat begehst, liegt jenseits aller Erwartung. Es wäre wie ein roter Fleck auf weißem Tuch — so fest ist meine Überzeugung.“
