Daiva–Puruṣakāra Saṃvāda
Kṛpa’s Counsel on Destiny and Human Effort
उत्थानस्य फलं सम्यक् तदा स लभते5चिरात् | जो वृद्ध पुरुषोंका वचन सुनकर उसके अनुसार कार्य आरम्भ करता है, वह उस कार्यका उत्तम फल शीघ्र ही प्राप्त कर लेता है
utthānasya phalaṁ samyak tadā sa labhate 'cirāt |
Kṛpa sprach: „Wer auf den Rat erfahrener Ältester hört und sogleich nach ihm ans Werk geht, erlangt bald die rechte und vortreffliche Frucht seines Bemühens.“
कृप उवाच
Timely initiative guided by the advice of wise elders leads swiftly to successful results; right action is not only knowing what is good, but beginning it without delay under sound counsel.
In the Sauptika Parva’s tense aftermath of the war, Kṛpa offers a concise maxim of statecraft and conduct: act decisively and correctly, especially when guided by senior, experienced voices, and the desired outcome will come quickly.
