अजिनै: संवृतान्‌ दृष्टवा हृतराज्यानरिंदमान्‌ | प्रस्थितान्‌ वनवासाय ततो दुःशासनोडब्रवीत्‌,जिनका राज्य छिन गया था, वे शत्रुदमन पाण्डव जब मृगचर्मसे अपने अंगोंको ढँककर वनवासके लिये प्रस्थित हुए, उस समय दुःशासनने सभामें उनको लक्ष्य करके कहा --[

ajinaḥ saṁvṛtān dṛṣṭvā hṛtarājyān ariṁdamān | prasthitān vanavāsāya tato duḥśāsano ’bravīt ||

Vaiśaṁpāyana sprach: Als Duḥśāsana die Pāṇḍavas — Bezwinger der Feinde — sah, ihres Reiches beraubt, in Hirschhäute gehüllt und zum Waldexil aufbrechend, da erhob er in der Versammlung das Wort und richtete es an sie.
