Śakrasya Divyā Sabhā

Indra’s Radiant Assembly Hall

इस प्रकार श्रीमह्याभारत सभापवके अन्तर्गत लोकपालसभाख्यानपर्वमें युधिष्ठिरकी दिव्य सभाओंके विषयमें जिज्ञासाविषयक छठा अध्याय पूरा हुआ,तस्यामुपासते नित्यं महात्मानं शतक्रतुम्‌ । मरुतः सर्वशो राजन्‌ सर्वे च गृहमेधिन: राजन! उस दिव्य सभामें सभी मरुदगण और गृहवासी देवता सौ यज्ञोंका अनुष्ठान पूर्ण कर लेनेवाले महात्मा इन्द्रकी प्रतिदिन सेवा करते हैं

tasyām upāsate nityaṁ mahātmānaṁ śatakratum | marutaḥ sarvaśo rājan sarve ca gṛhamedhinaḥ ||

O König, in jener göttlichen Versammlungshalle dienen alle Maruts und ebenso alle Hausgottheiten unablässig, Tag für Tag, dem großgesinnten Indra — dem Vollbringer von hundert Opfern. Das Bild bekräftigt eine kosmische Ordnung, in der selbst mächtige Götter rechtmäßige Herrschaft durch täglichen Dienst und disziplinierte Verehrung stützen.
