इदं त्वकार्य कुरुवीरमध्ये रजस्वलां यत्‌ परिकर्षसे माम्‌ । न चापि वक्षित्‌ कुरुतेअत्र कुत्सां ध्रुवं तवेदं मतमभ्युपेता:,अरे! तू इन कौरववीरोंके बीचमें जो मुझ रजस्वला स्त्रीको खींचकर लिये जा रहा है, यह अत्यन्त पापपूर्ण कृत्य है। मैं देखती हूँ यहाँ कोई भी मनुष्य तेरे इस कुकर्मकी निन्दा नहीं कर रहा है। निश्चय ही ये सब लोग तेरे मतमें हो गये

idaṁ tv akāryaṁ kuru-vīra-madhye rajasvalāṁ yat parikarṣase mām | na cāpi vakṣyati kurute 'tra kutsāṁ dhruvaṁ tavedaṁ matam abhyupetāḥ ||

Dies ist eine Unrechtstat, begangen mitten unter den Helden der Kurus: dass du mich fortzerrst, eine Frau in ihrer Monatszeit. Und ich sehe, dass hier niemand das Wort erhebt und diese schändliche Tat tadelt. Gewiss haben sie alle deine Ansicht angenommen und sich deinem Willen angeschlossen.
