दुर्योधनस्य बलिवर्णनम् — Duryodhana’s Description of Tribute at the Rājasūya

एवं प्रलम्भान्‌ विविधानू प्राप्य तत्र विशाम्पते । पाण्डवेयाभ्यनुज्ञातस्ततो दुर्योधनो नृप:

evaṁ pralambhān vividhān prāpya tatra viśāṁpate | pāṇḍaveyābhyanujñātas tato duryodhano nṛpaḥ ||

Vaiśaṃpāyana sprach: So hatte König Duryodhana dort, o Herr der Völker, mancherlei Demütigungen und Täuschungen erfahren. Nachdem er die wunderbare Fülle erblickt hatte, die den Pāṇḍavas beim Rājasūya zuteilgeworden war, nahm er Abschied von Yudhiṣṭhira und zog mit missmutigem Herzen nach Hastināpura davon.
