Dyūta-kathā-praśnaḥ — Inquiry into the Dice-Game Calamity
एवमीदृशकं स्वप्न द्रक्ष्यसि त्वं विशाम्पते । मा तत्कृते हानुध्याहि कालो हि दुरतिक्रम:,“राजन! तुम्हें इस प्रकार ऐसा स्वप्न दिखायी देगा, किंतु उसके लिये तुम्हें चिन्ता नहीं करनी चाहिये; क्योंकि काल सबके लिये दुर्लडघ है
evamīdṛśakaṃ svapnaṃ drakṣyasi tvaṃ viśāmpate | mā tatkṛte hānudhyāhi kālo hi duratikramaḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana sprach: „O Herr des Volkes, du wirst einen Traum genau dieser Art schauen. Grüble deshalb nicht, denn die Zeit ist wahrlich schwer von irgendjemandem zu überschreiten.“
