Adhyāya 33: Antarvedī-Samāgama, Arghya-Nirṇaya, and Śiśupāla’s Objection

तेषु ते न्‍्यवसन्‌ राजन ब्राह्मणा नृपसत्कृता: | कथयन्त: कथा बद्दी: पश्यन्तो नटनर्तकान्‌,राजन! उन गृहोंमें वे ब्राह्मणलोग राजासे सत्कार पाकर निवास करने लगे। वहाँ वे नाना प्रकारकी कथाएँ कहते और नट-नर्तकोंके खेल देखते थे

teṣu te nyavasan rājan brāhmaṇā nṛpasatkṛtāḥ | kathayantaḥ kathā bahvīḥ paśyanto naṭanartakān ||

O König, in jenen Häusern nahmen die Brāhmaṇas, vom Herrscher geehrt und gastlich empfangen, Wohnung. Dort verbrachten sie die Zeit, indem sie mancherlei Geschichten erzählten und den Darbietungen von Schauspielern und Tänzern zusahen.
