इत्युक्त्वा सो5सुर: पार्थ प्रागुदीचीं दिशं गत: । अथोत्तरेण कैलासान्मैनाकं पर्वतं प्रति,अर्जुनसे ऐसा कहकर मयासुर पूर्वोत्तर दिशा (ईशानकोण)-में कैलाससे उत्तर मैनाक पर्वतके पास गया

Vaiśampāyana sprach: Nachdem er so gesprochen hatte, zog jener Asura, o Pārtha, in das nordöstliche Viertel davon. Dann, nördlich am Berg Kailāsa vorüber, setzte er seinen Weg in Richtung des Berges Maināka fort.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights resolve and follow-through: after speaking (and implicitly committing to a course of action), one proceeds decisively toward the intended goal. It also frames action within a meaningful landscape, where direction and sacred places underscore intentionality rather than aimless movement.
After finishing his statement, Maya the Asura departs toward the north-east. He travels north of Mount Kailāsa and heads toward Mount Maināka, indicating a deliberate journey to a specific mountainous region.
