अर्जुन उवाच
The verse highlights that effective and righteous rulership depends on a rare combination of means—arms, valor, allies, territory, reputation, and strength—and that such attainment should be recognized as difficult and significant, implying responsibility and restraint rather than arrogance.
Arjuna addresses a king and states that he has gained the hard-won, long-desired prerequisites for power and protection—martial equipment, personal prowess, supportive backing, and the tangible and intangible assets of rule such as land and fame.
