वैशम्पायन उवाच एवमुक्तो भगवता प्रत्युवाच युधिष्ठिर: । भीमार्जुनौ समालोक्य सम्प्रह्ृष्टमुखौ स्थितौ,वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं--जनमेजय! भगवान्‌के ऐसा कहनेपर वहाँ खड़े हुए भीमसेन और अर्जुनका मुख प्रसन्नतासे खिल उठा। उस समय उन दोनोंकी ओर देखकर युधिष्ठिरने इस प्रकार उत्तर दिया

vaiśampāyana uvāca evam ukto bhagavatā pratyuvāca yudhiṣṭhiraḥ | bhīmārjunau samālokya samprahṛṣṭamukhau sthitau ||

Vaiśampāyana sprach: So vom Ehrwürdigen angesprochen, erwiderte Yudhiṣṭhira. Er blickte zu Bhīma und Arjuna, die dort standen, die Gesichter vor Freude erhellt, und sprach dann zur Antwort.
