Jarāsandha-vadha-upadeśa and the Departure toward Magadha (जरासन्धवधोपदेशः मागधप्रस्थानं च)

लिखिता चैव कुड्येषु पुत्रैबहुभिरावृता । गन्धपुष्पैस्तथा धूपैर्भक्ष्यभोज्यै: सुपूजिता,एवं तुम्हारे घरकी दीवारोंपर मेरा ऐसा चित्र अंकित किया गया है, जिसमें मैं अनेक पुत्रोंसे घिरी हुई खड़ी हूँ। उस चित्रके रूपमें मेरा गन्ध, पुष्प, धूप और भक्ष्य-भोज्य पदार्थोद्वारा भलीभाँति पूजन होता आ रहा है

Transliteration

likhitā caiva kuḍyeṣu putrair bahubhir āvṛtā | gandha-puṣpais tathā dhūpair bhakṣya-bhojyaiḥ supūjitā ||

Translation

Und an den Wänden befindet sich wahrlich ein gemaltes Abbild von mir—ich stehe dort, von vielen Söhnen umringt. In dieser Gestalt bin ich seit langem gebührend verehrt worden mit Wohlgerüchen, Blumen, Weihrauch und Speiseopfern samt köstlichen Gaben.
