Jarā’s Account and the Enthronement of Jarāsandha (जरासंधोत्पत्तिः अभिषेकश्च)

एको होव श्रियं नित्यं बिभर्ति पुरुषर्षभ: । अन्तरात्मेव भूतानां तत्क्षयं नैव लक्षये

eko hi sa śriyaṃ nityaṃ bibharti puruṣarṣabhaḥ | antarātmeva bhūtānāṃ tatkṣayaṃ naiva lakṣaye ||

O Bester der Männer! Er allein trägt und genießt unablässig königliches Glück. Wie das innewohnende Selbst in allen Wesen vermag ich kein natürliches Mittel zu erkennen, durch das er ins Verderben gebracht werden könnte; daher wird seine Vernichtung nicht von selbst kommen, sondern nur durch entschlossenes, bewusstes Bemühen erreicht werden.
