अनुगृह्नन्‌ प्रजा: सर्वा: सर्वधर्मभृतां वर: । अविशेषेण सर्वेषां हितं चक्रे युधिष्ठिर:,युधिष्ठिर समस्त धर्मात्माओंमें श्रेष्ठ थे। वे सारी प्रजापर अनुग्रह करके सबका समानरूपसे हितसाधन करने लगे

anugṛhṇan prajāḥ sarvāḥ sarvadharmabhṛtāṃ varaḥ | aviśeṣeṇa sarveṣāṃ hitaṃ cakre yudhiṣṭhiraḥ ||

Yudhiṣṭhira, der Vortrefflichste unter denen, die jede Gestalt des Dharma wahren, erwies dem ganzen Volk seine Gunst. Ohne irgendeinen Unterschied zu machen, setzte er sich dafür ein, das Wohl aller gleichermaßen zu sichern—und regierte mit unparteiischer Fürsorge und ethischer Verantwortung.
