राजसूयविचारः — Deliberation on the Rajasuya and the Summoning of Kṛṣṇa
वैशम्पायन उवाच एवमाख्याय पार्थेभ्यो नारदो जनमेजय । जगाम तैरवृतो राजनृूषिभियें: समागत:,वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं--जनमेजय! कुन्तीकुमारोंस ऐसा कहकर नारदजी जिन ऋषियोंके साथ आये थे, उन्हींसे घिरे हुए पुनः: चले गये
Vaiśampāyana uvāca—evam ākhyāya Pārthebhyo Nārado Janamejaya | jagāma tair āvṛto rājan ṛṣibhir ye samāgatāḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana sprach: „O Janamejaya, nachdem Nārada den Söhnen der Pṛthā die Sache so berichtet hatte, brach er — umringt von eben jenen Weisen, die ihn begleitet hatten — erneut auf.“
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights the disciplined transmission of itihāsa: a sage delivers counsel or narrative to rightful hearers and then withdraws, underscoring restraint, authority of testimony, and the role of sages in guiding kings and heroes toward dharma.
After speaking to the Pāṇḍavas, Nārada leaves, accompanied and surrounded by the same group of sages who had come with him, as Vaiśampāyana reports this to King Janamejaya.
