Shloka 100

तस्य ज्याछेदनं कर्णो ज्यावधानं च संयुगे । नान्वबुध्यत व पलक भवत्‌,युद्धस्थलमें अर्जुनके डोरी काटना और पुनः दूसरी डोरीका चढ़ जाना इतनी शीघ्रतासे होता था कि कर्णको भी उसका पता नहीं चलता था। वह एक अद्भुत-सी घटना थी

tasya jyācchedanaṃ karṇo jyāvadhānaṃ ca saṃyuge | nānvabudhyata vai palakabhavat ||

Sañjaya sprach: Mitten im Kampf wurde Arjunas Bogensehne durchtrennt und im selben Augenblick wieder aufgezogen—so schnell, dass selbst Karṇa es nicht wahrnehmen konnte. Es war ein wunderbares Geschehen auf dem Schlachtfeld, das Arjunas außergewöhnliche Meisterschaft und Geistesgegenwart im Krieg offenbarte.
