तस्य ज्याछेदनं कर्णो ज्यावधानं च संयुगे । नान्वबुध्यत व पलक भवत्,युद्धस्थलमें अर्जुनके डोरी काटना और पुनः दूसरी डोरीका चढ़ जाना इतनी शीघ्रतासे होता था कि कर्णको भी उसका पता नहीं चलता था। वह एक अद्भुत-सी घटना थी
tasya jyācchedanaṃ karṇo jyāvadhānaṃ ca saṃyuge | nānvabudhyata vai palakabhavat ||
Sañjaya sprach: Mitten im Kampf wurde Arjunas Bogensehne durchtrennt und im selben Augenblick wieder aufgezogen—so schnell, dass selbst Karṇa es nicht wahrnehmen konnte.
