स कार्मुकज्यातलसंनिपात: सुमुक्तबाणस्तुमुलो बभूव

sa kārmukajyātala-saṃnipātaḥ sumukta-bāṇas tumulo babhūva

Sañjaya sprach: Das Schlagen der Sehne an den Bogen, vereint mit den wohlgelösten Pfeilen, schwoll zu einem gewaltigen, tobenden Dröhnen an—ein unheilvolles Klangbild der Schlacht, in dem Kunstfertigkeit und Gewalt zusammenlaufen.
