हत्वाहं कर्णमाजौ हि तोषयिष्यामि भ्रातरम् | “जिसके बल-पराक्रमका भरोसा करके महामनस्वी दुर्बुद्धि एवं दुरात्मा दुर्योधन सदा हमलोगोंका अपमान करता आया है
hatvāhaṃ karṇam ājau hi toṣayiṣyāmi bhrātaram |
Sañjaya sprach: «Wenn ich Karṇa im Kampf erschlagen habe, werde ich wahrlich meinen Bruder zufriedenstellen.
