त्वां प्राप्प समरे शूरं ते गता: परमां गतिम् | मैंने देखा है इन्द्रके समान पराक्रमी बहुत-से शूरवीर समरांगणमें तुझ शौर्यसम्पन्न वीरके पास आकर परम गतिको प्राप्त हो गये
tvāṁ prāpya samare śūraṁ te gatāḥ paramāṁ gatim |
O Held, als sie dich im Kampf erreichten, gelangten sie zum höchsten Ende. Ich sah viele Tapfere—mächtig wie Indra—auf dem Schlachtfeld zu dir kommen, zu dir, dem von Heldenmut Erfüllten; und als sie deiner Kraft begegneten, gingen sie hin zu ihrem erhabensten Geschick.
