कर्णपुत्रवधः (The Fall of Vṛṣasena) — Karṇa Parva, Adhyāya 62

तौ हताश्लौ हतरथौ पाण्डवौ भूशविक्षतौ । भ्रातरावारुरुहतु: सहदेवरथं तदा,घोड़ों एवं रथोंके नष्ट हो जानेपर अत्यन्त घायल हुए वे दोनों भाई पाण्डव उस समय सहदेवके रथपर जा चढ़े

tau hatāśvau hatarathau pāṇḍavau bhūśavikṣatau | bhrātarāv āruruhatuḥ sahadevarathaṃ tadā ||

Sañjaya sprach: Als ihre Pferde erschlagen und ihr Wagen zerstört waren, stiegen die beiden Pāṇḍava-Brüder, schwer verwundet und mit Staub bedeckt, damals auf Sahadevas Streitwagen.
