कर्णस्य सेनापत्याभिषेकः | Karṇa’s Consecration as Commander-in-Chief

तथा सत्यधृतिर्वीर: कृत्वा कदनमाहवे

tathā satyadhṛtir vīraḥ kṛtvā kadanam āhave

Sañjaya sagte: «So trat der heldenhafte Satyadhṛti, nachdem er in der Schlacht ein großes Gemetzel angerichtet hatte, als furchtbarer Krieger hervor — ein Bild von Tapferkeit und düsterer Entschlossenheit unter der moralischen Last des Krieges.»
