तस्मात् त्वं मत्प्रियं कुर्वन् याहि यत्र युधिष्ठिर: । दृष्टवा कुशलिन युद्धे धर्मपुत्रं सहानुजम्
tasmāt tvaṃ matpriyaṃ kurvan yāhi yatra yudhiṣṭhiraḥ | dṛṣṭvā kuśalīnaṃ yuddhe dharmaputraṃ sahānujam ||
„Darum tu, was mir lieb ist: Geh dorthin, wo Yudhiṣṭhira sich befindet. Sieh selbst nach, ob der Sohn des Dharma — zusammen mit seinen jüngeren Brüdern — mitten in der Schlacht wohlbehalten ist.“
संजय उवाच
Even in the midst of war, one must prioritize truthful assessment and concern for the welfare of persons—especially those bound by dharma and kinship—rather than acting from rumor, rage, or mere strategy.
Sañjaya instructs someone to go to Yudhiṣṭhira’s location and verify his condition in the battle, specifically checking whether Yudhiṣṭhira (Dharmaputra) and his younger brothers are safe.
