Educational Q&A

The verse highlights the dharmic power of sincere stuti (praise): disciplined, truthful devotion expressed through hymns is portrayed as capable of increasing divine tejas, emphasizing the ethical force of reverent speech and collective spiritual practice.

Bhīṣma (Pitāmaha) describes a scene where sages repeatedly praise Mahādeva with many hymns; through their continual worship they are said to enhance his radiance, underscoring the intensity and efficacy of their devotion.
