दक्षिणे तु महाराज सुषेण: सत्यसंगर: । वृतो रथसहस्रेण दन्तिनां च त्रिभि: शतै:,महाराज! दाहिने पैरके पिछले भागमें एक सहख्र रथियों और तीन सौ हाथियोंसे घिरे हुए सत्यप्रतिज्ञ सुषेण खड़े किये गये
dakṣiṇe tu mahārāja suṣeṇaḥ satyasaṅgaraḥ | vṛto rathasahasreṇa dantināṃ ca tribhiḥ śataiḥ ||
Sañjaya sagte: „Am rechten Flügel, o großer König, wurde Suṣeṇa aufgestellt—standhaft und seinem Kampfgelübde treu—umringt von tausend Streitwagen und dreihundert Kriegselefanten.“
