Chapter 99: Sātyaki and Duḥśāsana’s engagement
अतिष्ठद् युगमध्ये स युगसंनहनेषु च । जघनार्थेषु चाश्वानां तत् सैन्यान्यभ्यपूजयन्,वे एक पैर जूएके ठीक बीचमें और दूसरा पैर उस जूएसे सटे हुए (आचार्यके) घोड़ोंके पिछले आधे भागोंपर रखकर खड़े हो गये। उनके इस कार्यकी सभी सैनिकोंने भूरि-भूरि प्रशंसा की
atiṣṭhad yugamadhye sa yugasaṃnahaneṣu ca | jaghanārtheṣu cāśvānāṃ tat sainyāny abhyapūjayan ||
Sañjaya sprach: Er stand sicher, einen Fuß mitten auf dem Joch, den anderen auf der Jochbefestigung, über dem hinteren Teil der Pferde. Als die Heere diese kühne Tat im Getümmel sahen, priesen sie ihn immer wieder und rühmten seine Kraft und Geistesgegenwart.
