परमास्त्राणि धुन्वाना: सौभद्रमभिदुद्रुवु: । तान्‌ निवार्यार्जुनिर्बाणै: क्राथपुत्रमथार्दयत्‌,उन सबने अपने उत्तम अस्त्रोंका प्रयोग करते हुए सुभद्राकुमारपर आक्रमण किया। अभिमन्युने अपने बाणोंद्वारा उन सबका निवारण करके क्राथपुत्रको अधिक पीड़ा दी

paramāstrāṇi dhunvānāḥ saubhadram abhidudruvuḥ | tān nivāryārjunir bāṇaiḥ krāthaputram athārdhayat ||

Sañjaya sprach: Mit ihren mächtigsten Waffen stürmten sie auf Saubhadra (Abhimanyu) los. Abhimanyu hielt sie alle mit seinen Pfeilen zurück und bedrängte dann Krāthas Sohn hart, sodass er schwere Qual erlitt.
