रूपं ज्योति: शब्द आकाशवायु: स्पर्श: स्वाद्यं सलिलं गन्ध उर्वी । कालो ब्रह्मा ब्रह्म च ब्राह्मणाश्न त्वत्सम्भूतं स्थास्नु चरिष्णु चेदम्,शब्द और आकाश, स्पर्श और वायु, रूप और तेज, रस और जल तथा गन्ध और पृथ्वीकी उत्पत्ति भी आपसे ही हुई है। काल, ब्रह्मा, वेद, ब्राह्मण तथा यह सम्पूर्ण चराचर जगत् भी आपसे ही उत्पन्न हुआ है
rūpaṁ jyotiḥ śabda ākāśavāyuḥ sparśaḥ svādyaṁ salilaṁ gandha urvī | kālo brahmā brahma ca brāhmaṇāś ca tvat-sambhūtaṁ sthāsnu cariṣṇu cedaṁ ||
Śrī Nārāyaṇa sprach: Gestalt und Licht, Klang und Raum, Berührung und Wind, Geschmack und Wasser, und Duft und Erde—alles entsteht aus dir. Zeit, Brahmā, der Veda, die Brāhmaṇas und dieses ganze Universum, das Bewegte und das Unbewegte, sind gleichermaßen aus dir geboren.
