ददर्श भृशदुर्धर्ष सर्वदेवैरभिष्टतम् । अणीयांसमणुभ्यश्व बृहदभ्यश्व बृहत्तमम्,तात! उस तपस्यासे जब वे साक्षात् ब्रह्मस्वरूपमें स्थित हो गये, तब उन्हें उन भगवान् विश्वेश्वरका दर्शन हुआ जो सम्पूर्ण विश्वके उत्पत्ति-स्थान और जगत्के पालक हैं, जिन्हें पराजित करना अत्यन्त कठिन (असम्भव) है। सम्पूर्ण देवता जिनकी स्तुति करते हैं तथा जो सूक्ष्मसे भी अत्यन्त सूक्ष्म और महानसे भी परम महान् हैं
dadarśa bhṛśa-durdharṣaṁ sarva-devair abhiṣṭatam | aṇīyāṁsam aṇubhyaś ca bṛhadbhyaś ca bṛhattamam ||
Vyāsa sprach: „Er erblickte den Herrn, überaus unbezwingbar, den von allen Göttern am meisten Geliebten und Gepriesenen—feiner als das Feinste und größer als das Größte.“
