Shloka 46

धृतराष्ट्रेण भीष्माय द्रोणाय च विशाम्पते । विसृष्टा पृथिवी सर्वा सह पुत्रैश्न तत्परै:,प्रजानाथ! धृतराष्ट्रने भीष्म और द्रोणको उनकी सेवामें रहनेवाले अपने पुत्रोंके साथ ही इस सारी पृथ्वीका राज्य सौंप दिया था

dhṛtarāṣṭreṇa bhīṣmāya droṇāya ca viśāmpate | visṛṣṭā pṛthivī sarvā saha putraiś ca tatparaiḥ ||

O Herr der Völker, Dhṛtarāṣṭra übergab die Herrschaft über diese ganze Erde Bhīṣma und Droṇa, zusammen mit seinen Söhnen, die ihnen ergeben dienten.

Entrusting power to revered elders and institutions does not automatically ensure dharma; ethical responsibility remains with both the one who delegates authority and those who accept and exercise it. Loyalty and service (tatparatā) become morally significant when they support unjust ends.
