तमाजिशीर्षमायान्तं दहन्तं क्षत्रियर्ष भान्‌ । पराक्रान्तं पराक्रम्य तत: क्षत्रियपुड़वा:

Transliteration

tam ājiśīrṣam āyāntaṁ dahantaṁ kṣatriyarṣabhān | parākrāntaṁ parākramya tataḥ kṣatriyapuṅgavāḥ ||

Translation

Sanjaya sprach: Als sie sahen, wie er bis an die äußerste Spitze der Schlacht heranrückte, lodernd wie ein verzehrendes Feuer unter den besten Kshatriyas, rafften die vornehmsten Krieger ihren Mut zusammen und stürmten vor, um ihm zu begegnen und ihn zu stellen.
