The passage highlights disciplined adherence to rightful leadership in a crisis: elite warriors act in unity, setting aside hesitation, and follow Kṛṣṇa’s directive to face a formidable opponent. Ethically, it underscores the kṣatriya ideal of coordinated duty (dharma) and responsibility in war.
Sanjaya reports that after Kṛṣṇa’s instruction, the assembled great chariot-warriors proceed onto the battlefield to engage Karna (called Vaikartana) and accompanying Rakshasa fighters, preparing for direct confrontation.
