Transliteration

tau tu vikṣata-sarvāṅgau rudhiraugha-pariplutau

Translation

Sañjaya sprach: Doch jene beiden, am ganzen Leib verwundet, waren von Strömen des Blutes durchnässt—ein Bild der grausamen Kosten des Krieges, in dem Tapferkeit und Pflicht gemäß dem Dharma inmitten bitteren Leidens verfolgt werden.
