न तु तावदहं मन्ये प्राप्तकालं तवानघ । समागमं महाबाहो सूतपुत्रेण संयुगे,निष्पाप महाबाहु अर्जुन! इस समय रणक्षेत्रमें सूतपुत्रके साथ तुम्हारा युद्ध करना मैं उचित नहीं मानता
na tu tāvad ahaṃ manye prāptakālaṃ tavānagha | samāgamaṃ mahābāho sūtaputreṇa saṃyuge ||
Vāyu sprach: „Noch halte ich die Zeit für dich nicht für gekommen, o Makelloser. O Held mit mächtigen Armen, ich erachte es jetzt nicht als angemessen, dass du dich mit dem Sohn des Wagenlenkers in den Kampf einlässt.“
