दुर्योधन–द्रोणसंवादः
Arjuna-vīrya-prasaṃśā and renewed battle formation
सर्वेषामेव पार्थानां फाल्गुनो बलवत्तर: | तस्यामोघां विमोक्ष्यामि शक्ति शक्रविनिर्मिताम्,कुन्तीके सभी पुत्रोंमें अर्जुन ही अधिक शक्तिशाली हैं, अतः मैं इन्द्रकी दी हुई अमोघ शक्तिको अर्जुनपर ही छोड़ूँगा
sarveṣām eva pārthānāṁ phālguno balavattaraḥ | tasyāmoghāṁ vimokṣyāmi śaktiṁ śakra-vinirmitām ||
Karna sprach: „Unter allen Söhnen der Pṛthā (Kuntī) ist Phālguna (Arjuna) der Mächtigste. Darum werde ich gegen ihn den unfehlbaren Speer schleudern, den Śakra (Indra) geschmiedet hat.“
