अध्याय १४८ — कर्णप्रभावः, धृष्टद्युम्नस्य विरथता, तथा घटोत्कच-आह्वानम्
Chapter 148: Karṇa’s Pressure, Dhṛṣṭadyumna Unhorsed, and the Summoning of Ghaṭotkaca
ततः सुमहदाश्चर्य तत्रापश्याम भारत | समन्तपज्चकाद् बाहां शिरो यद् व्यहरत् ततः,भारत! उस समय हमने समनन््तपंचकसे बाहर जहाँ वह बाण उस मस्तकको ले गया था, वहाँ बड़े भारी आश्चर्यकी घटना देखी
tataḥ sumahad āścaryaṃ tatrāpaśyāma bhārata | samantapañcakād bāhāṃ śiro yad vyaharat tataḥ ||
Sañjaya sprach: „Dann, o Bhārata, wurden wir dort Zeugen eines höchst außergewöhnlichen Wunders. Außerhalb von Samantapañcaka, an dem Ort, wohin jener Pfeil das abgetrennte Haupt trug, zeigte sich ein wahrhaft erstaunliches Ereignis.“
